    Description

Vintage STANLEY No. 69 Boxwood & Brass Carpenters' Folding Rule
    This is a vintage 12"
    STANLEY No. 69
    four-fold boxwood and brass
    Carpenters' rule
with round joint.   This example is unmarked except for the model number.  However, you can tell that it was manufactured by Stanley due to the length of the hinges.   I rate this ruler in
    FINE CONDITION
overall.  It has 2 of 3 alignment pins in place and folds up nice and tight.  All of the numbers and markings are clear and easy to read.  The boxwood has a nice golden color to it.  A very nice example of a vintage pocket rule for you to add to your antique measuring tool collection!
If you have any questions regarding this item, please ask me prior to bidding. In the next few weeks, I will be selling folding rules made by Stanley, Lufkin, H. Chapin, Stephens, Rabone, Upson Nut, and others, so if you like folding rulers, please take a second to take a look at my other auctions.
Thanks For Your Interest & Good Luck!!!
