An early pre prohibition era beer brewery advertising stoneware or pottery mug stein. This one is advertising for Dick's Beer. From The Dick Brothers Brewing Co. of Quincy Illinois IL. The mug measures 4-1/2" x 3" in diameter at the opening. Marked as made by: C. Schultz Mannheim. Very good condition as shown with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs and displays really well. Does show normal non detracting surface glaze crazing that appears on these early pottery mugs. A very nice early beer mug or stein for your collection.
