This is one of the beautiful Makie fountain pen produced in Kaga in Kanazawa prefecture where one of the famous place for its good urushi lacquer and makie art.
About Makie
Maki-e is an ancient Japanese art that combines intricate lacquer painting with a variety of surface decorations. These traditionally include powdered gold, silver, plutinum and other precious metals, gemstones, mother of pearl or abalone shell.

About Shipment
I usually ship by EMS (Express Mail Service). But due to international shipping situation, shipment method may vary.
The tracking number shall be informed as soon as shipped. Your shipping will be traced by the tracking number from Japan Post EMS website.
The standard delivery should be four to 4-6 days to US and 7-10 days for the other country. When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.
